Michigan&rsquo;s Mackinac Center took advantage of increased public awareness of the issue by organizing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.michigancapitolconfidential.com\/12220\">a panel<\/a>, &ldquo;The Changing Debate on Climate Change,&rdquo; in a state in the crosshairs of Washington warming legislation. The event was held Tuesday at Oakland University north of Detroit.<\/p>\n<p><div align=\"left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/multimedia.detnews.com\/pix\/blogs\/newsmakers\/2010\/03\/MackPanel.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"288\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div><p>Attendance was robust and the discussion lively. Moderated by Mackinac&#8217;s Senior Environmental Policy Analyst Russ Harding, the panel included myself, Shikha Dalmia of Reason and Paul Chesser of the Heartland Institute.
