After an eight-month cover-up \u2013 by both the White House and the Mainstream Media \u2013 Benghazi-gate exploded on Capitol Hill Wednesday as the Deputy Ambassador to Libya (and the late Ambassador Chris Stevens) publicly testified on the facts behind the terrorist attack.<\/p>\n
State Department careerist\u00a0Gregory Hicks testified that \u00a0\u201dmy jaw dropped. I was embarrassed\u201d \u00a0when Obama appointee and U.N. ambassador Susan Rice lied on national television that the attack was the result of a spontaneous rally protesting a YouTube video. Hicks and his staff knew otherwise.<\/p>\n
Hicks revealed that Hillary Clinton\u2019s sham \u201cindependent\u201d State Dept. investigation of the incident was woefully incomplete \u2013 indeed, whistleblower Mark Thompson, deputy coordinator for operations at the State Department\u2019s Counterterrorism Bureau, was not even interviewed about details. (Thompson\u2019s revelation, incidentally, came duringquestioning by<\/a>\u00a0Michigan Rep. Mark Walberg, R-Tipton. Michigan Democrats were typically mute on the disturbing whistleblower testimony, as they have been incurious about the killing of a Michigan border patrol agent during Fast & Furious).<\/p>\n And Hicks told of Clinton\u2019s chief-of-staff (and longtime Hillary fixer) Cheryl Mills dressing him down for refusing to clam up to Congressman Jason Chaffetz \u00a0when he came to Libya on a fact-finding mission.<\/p>\n The administration didn\u2019t want to know.<\/p>\n Having based his 2012 re-election on the slogan \u201cGeneral Motors is alive and Bin Laden is dead,\u201d Obama\u2019s admission of Al Qaida destroying a U.S.\u00a0outpost on 9\/11\u2032s anniversary would have opened a significant front against the campaign narrative. So the administration coordinated a cover-up.<\/p>\n
