Given her abysmal performance in office, once can only conclude Guv Granholm’s constant presence on Obama’s short list is cynical: That she is a woman, a figure from a key electoral state, a union favorite, etc. Visually, she is a difficult draw given her beauty – but lately I’ve taken to her pompadour hair to go with the distinguishing moles and freckles. And then there is the red pantsuit – her sartorial signature from the 2006 campaign.
