I don’t buy the idea that Hummer is the poster child for gas-guzzling excess. There are too many big SUVs and guzzling sports cars still on the market to counter that. The Hummer, rather, was a lifestyle vehicle victimized by recession. A dinosaur. And the tarpits are the perfect visual.
